  Binary column number holding data
• TYPE = CHARACTER*(*) (given)
  Type for mapping
• MODE = CHARACTER*(*) (given)
  Mapping access mode
• PTR = INTEGER (given)
  The mapped memory address
• STATUS = INTEGER (given and returned)
  The global status.
