Return text description of file position of identifier

Invocation

CALL ADI_FTRACE( ID, NLEV, PATH, FILE, STATUS )

Description

Returns a description of the full specification of a file based data object. This is split into 2 parts. The FILE part gives the operating system filename containing the data object. The PATH contains any sub-file specification required. NLEV contains a count of the number of levels of sub-structure within the PATH value.

Arguments

• ID = INTEGER (given)
  ADI identifier of file object
• NLEV = INTEGER (returned)
  Number of hierarchy levels
• PATH = CHARACTER*(*) (returned)
  Sub-file path
• FILE = CHARACTER*(*) (returned)
  File specification
• STATUS = INTEGER (given and returned)
  The global status.
