The ADI kernel is written in ANSI standard C with access to Fortran through Starlink's F77 package.
Both C and Fortran programmers interfaces are provided. The Fortran
routines are
prefixed with ADI_ and the C routines with adic_ (in lower
case). The routine names are otherwise the same, although the arguments
may differ slightly, especially where character strings are concerned.
