The PSPC suffers from both spatial and temporal gain variations. An
account of this can be found in OGIP Calibration Memo CAL/ROS/95-003.
ASTERIX doesn't currently take these into account, however, there is an
ftool, pcpicor which can be applied to the raw FITS data.
This will only work for data in RDF format.
