Global parameters

Some parameters are stored in global parameters which are accessible to all applications. These are used for example to store the current analysis dataset. Applications will normally pick this up and suggest it as a default. Some applications may still use this as a hidden default, which needs to be overridden on the command line.

Current values of all global parameters may be displayed by typing the command,

  ICL> global

The value of global parameters can be set using the ICL built-in command SETGLOBAL.
