AST2XSP

Converts a standard ASTERIX spectral dataset into XSPEC format. Both the XSPEC pulse height (.pha) and detector response (.rmf) files are created.

This routine works on EXOSAT ME, LE, ROSAT WFC, PSPC and HEXE data at present, but if the instrument is not recognised the user is simply prompted for the geometric area of the instrument.
