ASTQDP*

A command procedure which runs the AST2QDP command to convert an ASTERIX dataset to QDP format, and then places the user inside QDP to enter the commands he/she chooses. The procedure should be invoked thus,

     % astqdp [-h] [-k] [filename [device]]

The -h option prints a short summary of the usage of the procedure. The -k option instructs ASTQDP that the intermediate QDP file should be retained (the default is to delete it). If this option is selected then the file will be named .qdp. If the filename is not supplied then it will be prompted for. If the output device is not specified then QDP will use the device defined by the PGPLOT_TYPE environment variable, which is usually set to the value "/xwin".
