WFCSPC*

The procedure is intended for interactive use only. It requests the location of source and background boxes from the currently displayed image and produces a background subtracted, exposure corrected, spectral dataset for the source. The procedure may optionally arrange to collect data from periods only when the WFC and XRT systems were collecting data simultaneously.

To run (from within ICL):

  ICL> WFCSPC (OUTF) (MERGE) (XTIM)

The online parameters are

   OUTF    CHAR     The o/p spectral dataset
   MERGE   LOGICAL  Requests WFC and XRT commonality
   XTIM    CHAR     If MERGE is set this is the name of a simple text
                    file in which each record contains a pair of MJDs
                    between which the XRT was collecting data. The MJDs
                    should be separated by a space and each preceded by
                    the letter 'M'.
