If astrometry information is present in the first input datafile and a subsequent one then the program will calculate the offsets of the second file from the first using the RA, DEC, ROLL and axis information.
The second file is rebinned and rotated such that it has the same pixel size as the first file in axis coordinates and has the same orientation to North. It can then be added onto the first using the calculated offsets.
