Data Analysis for ground based interferometers

The group is a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (www.ligo.org) and is involved in the analysis of the data collected during the science runs of the GEO600 and LIGO interferometers to search for gravitational waves from a variety of astrophysical and cosmological sources. The group is primarily active in the analysis of the data to search for weak continuous gravitational wave emission from rapidly rotating neutron stars and stochastic backgrounds.
