 rate_dataset::set_offsets

 Usage:
        dsref -> set_offsets, offsets

 Argument:
        offsets float   An array of offsets to use, these are factors
                        by which to offset the nth trace

 Keyword:
        factor  float   Alternatively a fixed factor between sucessive
                        traces may be used

 Notes:
        If an array is used and its length doesn't match the number
        of traces, then the last factor is replicated.
