 species_name
        Return the full name of a species from its symbol.

 Usage:
        name = species_name(species)

 Argument:
        species string  Symbol or symbols of the species to be
                        expanded.

 Keyword:
        symbol  If set, then return symbols for names

 Notes:
        Only handles the regular TRK/PHA defines species and a few
        others.
