 uleis_dyn_spect_stream::set_channel
        Set the channel for a uleis dyn_spect stream.

 Usage:
        rc = strref -> set_channel(species)

 Argument:
        species string  The species and energy system to be plotted.

 Keyword:
        null    If set, then clear the channel and return, 0
