 strhelper_accum::attach_processed_accum
        Attach the processed accumulation times to a LAN rates stream.

 Usage:
        strref -> attach_processed_accum, accum

 Arguments:
        accum   fl/ptr  Either an array of accumulation times, or a
                        pointer to such an array.
 Notes:
        It is the responsibility of the calling routine to pass a
        correct refcount if that method is used.
