 marker::get_coords
        Return the vertices of a marker

 Usage:
        coord = mref -> get_coords()

 Keywords:
        x       If set, then return only the x coordinates
        y       If set, then return only the y coordinates
        doy     If set (and x is set) then convert time coordinates to
                date format.
