How to get to the University observatory?

View Wast Hills Observatory in a larger map

For GPS devices, the postcode of the Observatory is B38 9ES

Here is a basic map of how to get to the observatory from the University Campus (the important information to mention, when traveling via taxi, is that the building is on Wast Hills Lane, which is the first right turn off Redhill Road, which branches off from the Redditch Road (A441), from the roundabout by the Man on the Moon Pub):

Directions to get to the University Observatory (from the University):
Exit for the main East Gate, tuning right onto Edgbaston Park Road for 0.1mi
Turn right on to the A38 Bristol Road for 0.9mi until you see Sainsburys on your right
Move to the furthest left lane and take the left at the junction onto Oak Tree Lane (after Sainsburys) - A4040 for 1.6mi
At double roundabout, take the second exit, then the first exit onto the A441 (Pershore Road) for 0.6mi
At roundabout, take the third exit onto the A441 (Redditch Road) for 1.5mi
At the next roundabout (Man on the Moon pub on the right), take the first exit onto Redhill Road - drive slowly now as the next turn is easy to miss!
After about 0.5mi, turn right onto Wast Hills Road. The observatory is on the road, on the right, after about 300yds. Security light should be on. There is a small amount of parking space!
