*********************** Final Announcement *********************** 7th Birmingham Extragalactic Workshop "Constructing Clusters" June 28-29, 2004 Registration for the workshop has now closed, and a draft programme & participant list are available on the workshop web page: http://www.sr.bham.ac.uk/workshop/ Please let us know right away if you spot any problem with the information listed here. Talk lengths include time for questions: thus a 30min talk is 25+5 min questions, and a 15min talk is 12+3 min questions. Information on travel to the workshop can be found on the workshop webpage. Registration will take place in the room adjacent to the Physics Small Lecture Theatre, and will be clearly signposted on the day. Anyone travelling by car should park in the South Car Park, off Edgbaston Park Rd (50p pay & display), which is close to Physics. We have booked accommodation for everybody who has requested it for the night of June 28th in Chamberlain Hall (student accomodation). The alternative is to book your own accommodation using the hotels listed on the workshop web page as a guide. Chamberlain Hall is a 10-15 minute walk from the main Physics building, where the workshop will take place. It is inside the Campus, off Edgbaston Park Road, and can be found on the map pointed to from the Workshop web page. Please note that you are responsible for paying for your own accomodation (£29.37 at Chamberlain Hall). Rooms are also available at Chamberlain Hall for the second night (29th) for those who have requested them. The conference fee of £38, which covers coffee, lunches and the Balti dinner, is payable (cash or cheque) on arrival. Cheques are payable to the `University of Birmingham'). I'm afraid we can't cope with credit cards. Some reduction for those attending for only one day will be made. The registration area will be next to the Small Lecture Theatre (where coffee/tea will be served as well). A computer & projector will be available for laptop presentations, in addition to a normal OHP. Those using laptops might wish to bring a backup on CD or on OHP transparencies, just in case. The evening meal on Monday will be at a Balti restaurant in Selly Oak (vegetarian options will be available). The cost, plus two lunches, is included in the registration fee (including one drink at the evening meal). We look forward to seeing you on June 28th Laurence Jones (for the LOC)
