OMD2HDS converts binary event datafiles (.OMD) and the associated text header file (.HDR), previously converted using PREPXRT and XRTDISK into the HDS format used in ASTERIX version 1.7. This program is necessary for porting data from VAX VMS machines onto Unix, the other HDS files are directly transferable.
