Some ASTERIX applications require input of right ascension and declination celestial positions. The input format of such positions can take any of the forms below.

  Decimal degrees :    235.789
  Radians         :    2.56879rad (r is sufficient)
  hms/dms         :    12:34:24.5
  hms/dms         :    12 34 24.5
  hms             :    12h34m24.5s
  dms             :    -12d45m20.5s
  dm              :    -12d45.33
