XRTINDEX

XRTINDEX extracts essential information from the FITS header of the event dataset and stores them in a HDS datafile. XRTINDEX is wrapped up in the XRTCONV program. The header file is used by all the XRT interface programs and contains information on exposure time, data origins, PI name, observation title and observation dates.
