AFLINK

AFLINK manages links between datasets. Such links are used by ASTERIX and other packages to maintain collections of associated files. Each link has a logical name - the ones used by ASTERIX are listed below.

Link Name        Description
BGND             Background dataset
VIGN             Vignetting dataset
RESP             All up response matrix
RMF              Redistribution component of response matrix
ARF              Normalisation component of response matrix
PRIMARY          Link back to primary dataset from any of above

AFLINK allows the user to define these links, or to nullify them.
