Getting Started

All commands described in this document are available automatically as part of ASTERIX. If you have ASTERIX installed at your site, it can be started by typing

       > aststart

Most ASTERIX commands can be run from the shell. The exception to this is the command driven version of image processing. This requires the user to start ICL (command: icl), although most of the same functions are available within Isys, the image processing GUI, which is invoked from the shell. All other ASTERIX commands will also run from ICL.
