trk_idf::read_tracks

 trk_idf::read_tracks
        Read the lantracks?.def file, and split it into the bin map
        and the species map.

 Usage:
        trkref -> read_tracks[, file]

 Argument:
        file    string  If given, then read the bins data from this
                        file, under normal circumstances this should
                        not be used as setting the version should pick
                        up a properly matched set of files.
