The University of Birmingham

17th - 18th February 2015

Logistics

The workshop will be held on The University of Birmingham campus. The format will be similar to previous workshops in the series, with a mixture of 15 and 30 minute talks, leaving plenty of time for discussion.

The meeting will start at 11am on Tuesday 17th February and conclude at 5.30pm on Wednesday 18th, so that only one overnight stay in Birmingham should be required.

Travel to Birmingham

The meeting will be held in Room E104 of 52 Pritchatts Road (Building G9 on this campus map).

It is very convenient to travel to the University by train. The University's own station, “University”, is only an 8 minute ride from Birmingham New Street Station, with trains running every 10-15 minutes during most of the day.

Birmingham International Airport is the nearest airport to the University. You can then take a train to Birmingham New Street Station, where you will need to change trains and continue your journey to University station. Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport straight to the University; this will take approx. 30/40 minutes.

Some car parking spaces will also be available, please let us know if you plan to travel by car.
