About me
I am an Assistant Professor in the
Institute for Gravitational Wave Astronomy at the University of Birmingham. My research focuses on the theoretical modelling of transient and high-energy phenomena, particularly tidal disruption events, which I study using a combination of simulations and analytical tools.
Previously, I was a Marie Curie fellow in the
Theoretical Astrophysics Group of the Niels Bohr International Academy in Copenhagen, and before that I was a post-doctoral researcher in the
TAPIR group at the California Institute of Technology. I obtained my PhD from
Leiden Observatory in October 2017.
