Y3 Formation and Evolution of galaxies 2011-12

Lectures and Handouts

A note about past examination papers: This is the first year  (2011-12) this module is being taught, There used to be a module called "Dynamics and Evolution of galaxies",(DEG),  which has now been discontinued: about half of the syllabus in the current course is in common with that of its predecessor. You will find some questions in past DEG papers that will be relevant. If I haven't done it in class, or it is not in these notes, it won't appear in your exam.
